GONAbreed is FDA-approved for use in combination with estroPLAN as part of various reproductive synchronization programs in lactating dairy cows and beef cows. It is also approved for the treatment of ovarian follicular cysts.
When administered, GONAbreed stimulates cystic ovaries to respond to the synthetic gonadotropin by triggering the release of natural levels of endogenous LH (luteinizing hormone), resulting in ovulation and luteinization.
Each milliliter of GONAbreed contains 100 mcg of gonadorelin (GnRH) in the form of gonadorelin acetate.
